Questions

Questions people ask us

What does All Things Computers actually do?
We work out what your business needs from technology, then build it. That covers websites, online stores, apps, custom software, automation and AI work, plus advice when you are not sure which of those you need. Melbourne based, working with businesses across Australia.
Do you provide IT support?
No. We do not do helpdesk, printers, password resets, server patching or network monitoring. Plenty of Melbourne companies do that well and we will happily point you at one. We are who you call when the way your business runs has stopped making sense.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on what you are building, and we will give you an initial range after we understand the work. As a practical guide, integration work usually starts around A$5,000 and website projects around A$10,000. Tell us what you are trying to do and we will explain what is likely to affect the price.
Do you work with businesses outside Melbourne?
Yes. Discovery, design and delivery all run fine remotely and most of our work does. When a process mapping session benefits from everyone being in one room, we will come to you.
I know something is wrong but not what to fix. Can you help with that?
That is the most common call we get. You do not need to diagnose the problem first. Describe the frustration and we will work out what is underneath it, which is usually not what people expect.
